The Road Home is a private nonprofit social services agency that assists individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Salt Lake County and along the Wasatch Front.
- Equal Treatment: We are committed to providing equal treatment to all who come to us in need.
- Compassion: We will nurture our love for humanity within each of our relationships and interactions.
- Respect: Respect will be the cornerstone of our conduct.
- Dignity: We value the innate human dignity of every person.
We envision people moving seamlessly from the cold streets into warm housing; from despair and alienation toward home and inclusion. We envision a community that recognizes the inherent dignity of those who live in poverty and homelessness. The Road Home will work with all of our partners to realize this vision.
I work with chronically homeless individuals to find and maintain housing. I know that as part of The Road Home I am helping to make our community a better and more inclusive place for everyone.
My favorite part of my job is seeing the positive impact that volunteers and donors can have in our community. I love seeing the way that people light up when they receive something that they need or when they see that someone genuinely cares about them.
I assist our clients with whatever needs I can, including food boxes, transportation, assistance with paperwork and much more. I work at The Road Home to help make life easier on our society's most vulnerable population.
I strongly value the Housing First principle and believe that housing is a human right. I want to be a part of helping people stay stably housed.
I work with families that have recently moved out of shelter and into housing. Supporting families in their journey of stabilization and success in housing is an experience I feel lucky and humbled to be a part of.
Join us for an event where all proceeds go towards helping people overcome homelessness.
